Auf einer Insel, in der Nähe von Schottland, bekommt Kyle eine zweite Chance und trifft dort auf andere Jugendliche, die ebenfalls einen Neuanfang wagen wollen. Hartes Training und die wilde Natur zwingen Kyle und Co. Verantwortung zu übernehmen. Als eine Gruppe von Söldnern, unter der Führung von dem ehemaligen Soldaten Speck (Ed Westwick), die Schule stürmt und zahlreiche Lehrer und Wachposten tötet, wird aus dem Bootcamp eine Festung. Zahlreiche Schüler werden als Geiseln genommen und sollen Lösegeld in Millionenhöhe bringen. Kyle gelingt die Flucht – allerdings nicht unbemerkt. Ob er dem Tod entfliehen kann?
