Er will bei einer Party die asiatische Schulschönheit Chi Chi beeindrucken, indem er den Attacken zweier arroganter Rowdys in Gandhi-Manier politisch korrekt aus dem Weg geht, weshalb diese dummerweise ihr eigenes Auto verschrotten. Wieder daheim muss sich Goku dann wohl oder übel doch der Dragonball-Problematik annehmen. Sein Haus ist zerstört, der Großvater tot und der magische Orb verschwunden. Dahinter steckt Lord Piccolo, der mit Hilfe der Dragonballs einen alten Monsterkumpel wiedererwecken und so seine private Hölle auf Erden erschaffen will. Doch Goku hat Glück, er muss sich der Herausforderung nicht alleine stellen.
