Irvine Welsh is a great writer, humorous and dark in equal measure, and excellent at portraying the seedy underbelly of Glasgow gangsters, druggies etc. There was some great writing here too, and performances, but the foul mouthed baby story, The Acid House itself, was the stand out. It was worth buying the DVD just for that segment.
